Tennis improves education and learning

Young people who participate in tennis get better grades, devote more hours to studying, think more about their future, aspire to attend and graduate from college, and have lower suspension and expulsion rates than non-athletes and most athletes in other sports.³

Tennis teaches life skills

Players learn important life skills including sportsmanship, resiliency, self-reliance, trust, and teamwork
